The delegates seconded the choice of auditors by the Donors- Kisaka Auditing firm for the next one year.

Representatives of ESAU from National Union of Disabled Persons in Uganda and National Union of Women with Disabilities gave a summary of their annual reports to the delegates.

Delegates from different regions gave brief reports about the situation of people with epilepsy in their regions and activities being carried out. However what was pertinent was the lack of medication for people with epilepsy in most government health units, forcing groups to set up running drug banks. Members continue to collaborate with their district local governments so as to support organizational activities in each district.

Speaking at the event after the elections the Danish Epilepsy Association representative Consultant, Ms.  Kirsten cautioned the delegates to continuously sensitize their respective communities about epilepsy and bring epilepsy in the light so people with epilepsy are better understood and their lives improved. She thanked the delegates for great deliberations and a successful election of the interim Board.

ESAU thanks the delegates for the active participation and fruitful  deliberations that culminated into the election of a new board for the association.
